Biography

Atanu Bhattacharjee completed his PhD in Bayesian longitudinal analysis. Previously, he worked as a Consultant Biostatistician at the Mahidol-Oxford Research Unit, as a Lecturer at the University of Leicester, and as an Assistant Professor of Biostatistics at the Centre for Cancer Epidemiology, Tata Memorial Centre, where he headed the Department of Biostatistics.

Research

Dr Bhattacharjee channels his research pursuits towards the development of novel statistical methodologies tailored specifically for the analysis of time-to-event and longitudinal data. His primary focus lies in unravelling the intricacies of competing risks and navigating the challenges posed by high-dimensional datasets, thereby paving the way for deeper insights and more accurate interpretations within the medical domain.
