Histology 2 module (CA32001)

Microscopic structure and cellular organisation of a number of organs from main body systems will be studied. You will also learn to differentiate between normal and pathological states of a tissue at microscopic level.

You will acquire improved microscopic examination skills, while exploring the structure and cellular organisation of a number of tissues within multiple body systems. The use of microscopes in the lab will prepare you to correlate the function of an organ with respect to its microscopic structure. You will also learn to use the Dundee Virtual Microscope as an excellent adjunct resource.
