You will conduct high-level data collection and analysis. You will then refine your findings, and deliver a polished final report. This will all be done within a set timeframe.
This will help you to stand out to employers. This will allow you to demonstrate a proven track record of solving real-world issues. It also allows you to translate hard work into potentially meaningful outcomes in your workplace.
What you will learn
In this module you will:
- identify a relevant professional business problem that utilises prior, applied postgraduate learning
- develop an extended study. You will utilise a focused theoretical and literary background, implementing a case study method. You will derive research objectives and questions from theory and practice. This will allow you to undertaking a postgraduate level data collection and analysis activity. You will edit, review and produce a final written report within a defined timeline
By the end of this module you will be able to :
- show good knowledge and understanding of problem-based research and the case study method
- develop an effective link between literature and research design through research framing
- critically explore the theory-practice relationship in business research
- critically integrate focal theory with observed practice to a set of logical high-level conclusions
- produce a detailed and structured reflective account of personal learning and future development plans
