Medical Physics

Medical Physics is an extremely varied discipline with a wide range of applications concerned with technology in healthcare.

Principally funded by the National Health Service, Medical Physics has a large service workload but is also involved with academic research and teaching.

Many departmental projects arise directly from exciting developments in the clinical service and others develop from postgraduate student research supervised by our staff.
