University scholarship offering for students starting their studies at ICD in 2026/27

Vice Chancellor’s Scholarships (Americas, East Asia, Middle East, South-East Asia)

The University of Dundee is offering scholarships of £4,000 per year of study to applicants living in one of these regions: 

  • Americas
  • East Asia
  • Middle East
  • South-East Asia

To be eligible for an award, you must meet all the following criteria:

  • Have an offer to study a full-time, Undergraduate course excluding any courses in the School of Medicine or the School of Dentistry OR 180-credit Postgraduate taught course
  • Commencing studies at ICD in August 2026, September 2026, November 2026, January 2027, April 2027 or June 2027
  • Be domiciled in one of these countries (please see the Vice Chancellor’s scholarship pages linked below for a full list of eligible countries)
  • Have International fee status as determined by the University of Dundee. 

You do not have to submit an application for this scholarship.

Vice Chancellor’s Scholarships (Africa and South Asia)

The University of Dundee is offering scholarships of £6,500 for the first year of study followed by £4,000 per year of study to applicants living in one of these regions: 

  • Africa
  • South Asia

To be eligible for an award, you must meet all the following criteria:

  • Have an offer to study a full-time, Undergraduate course excluding any courses in the School of Medicine or the School of Dentistry OR 180-credit Postgraduate taught course.
  • Commencing studies at ICD in August 2026, September 2026, November 2026, January 2027, April 2027 or June 2027
  • Be domiciled in one of these countries (please see the Vice Chancellor’s scholarship pages linked below for a full list of eligible countries)
  • Have International fee status as determined by the University of Dundee.

Al-Maktoum Living Support Bursary (Postgraduate only)

In partnership with the University of Dundee, Al-Maktoum College Dundee are providing living support bursaries for students progressing to an MSc Islamic Finance course (or pathway) in the 2026/27 academic year.

  • Islamic Banking, Finance and International Business MSc
  • Islamic Finance MSc
  • Islamic Finance and Artificial Intelligence for Business MSc

The Bursary is worth £3,000 and will be paid in 10 monthly instalments of £300 after you have progressed and started your continuation programme after completing your studies at ICD.

Alumni and Family Scholarship

For International students, the value of this scholarship is £3,000, for 1 year only. If you meet the following criteria, then you are eligible to apply:

  • Have an immediate family member who has graduated from the University of Dundee OR is currently undertaking a degree programme at the University of Dundee.
  • Your Undergraduate or Postgraduate taught course starts with ICD in August 2026, September 2026, November 2026, January 2027, April 2027 or June 2027.

An immediate family member (“IFM”) includes the following:  

  • Mother
  • Father
  • Spouse
  • Step parent (by marriage)
  • Brother or Sister
  • Half brother and sister (by marriage)
