Interventional room 1

A hospital room featuring a large medical device, equipped with various monitors and medical supplies for patient care.

The Siemens ARTIS icono system with dynaCT, fluoroscopy, and digital subtraction angiography capabilities facilitates a wide range of surgical procedures, including interventional radiology, neuroradiology, and cardiac radiology. It can also support orthopaedics and device testing which can be supported by imaging.

Interventional room 2

A hospital room featuring a large medical device, equipped with various monitors and medical supplies for patient care.

Featuring a GE Healthcare OEC Elite, a surgical imaging C-arm designed to enhance surgical efficiency while maintaining the exceptional image quality that OEC C-arms are known for. This enables digital subtraction angiography and high-level fluoroscopy, for a variety of interventional training and device development and testing.

Ultrasound and intravascular ultrasound (IVUS)

The Siemens ACUSON S2000 Ultrasound system enhances workflow efficiency, imaging performance, and sustainability. This premium system offers unique solutions such as elastography imaging, multi-modality review, and contrast-enhanced ultrasound. Intravascular Ultrasound system enabling vessel sizing and assessment of arterial stenosis.

Pressure and temperature monitoring/control

AD Instruments LabChart and PowerLab. Internal pressure and temperature can be measured and recorded. Using perfusion flow rate we can aim to target ‘lifelike’ internal vessel pressure.

Laparoscopy

We utilise Karl Storz products, renowned for their support of general and visceral surgical procedures. This allows for internal views during interventional procedures where possible.

Imaging software

Our imaging software includes Aycan Medical Systems and syngo.via for comprehensive image management, analysis and tools for advanced post-processing. syngo.via offers multi-modality reading and fast 3D results, including the latest innovations and AI-enabled features.

Seminar rooms

A conference room featuring a large screen at the front and several chairs arranged for attendees.

Our seminar rooms 1 and 2 are equipped with two-way communication technology, enabling live links to Interventional Rooms 1 and 2 for interactive learning and collaboration.

CT and MR imaging
