Library lockers

Guidance on the lockers available at our library sites on campus.

Lockers are available on a first-come first served basis. You can pick up a key at the Infozone. When you return the key you will need to wait 24 hours until you can borrow another key.
Most of our sites have lockers available for the use of University of Dundee students.
Main Library
Standard loan lockers
- 133 lockers split between areas GA, GB and 1B
- 23cm x 24cm x 41cm (WxHxD) in area GA
- 32cm x 22 cm x 43cm (WxHxD) in area GB
- 25cm x 26cm x 43cm (WxHxD) in area 1B
- available to all University of Dundee students
- loan period of four weeks
- cannot be renewed
- cannot be reserved
- 24 hours re-loaning restriction
- Overdue locker keys incur a fine of £1 per day - you will be notified of the due date on issue
- Damaged/Lost locker keys incur a charge of £25 to replace the lock mechanism
Postgraduate Suite lockers
- 48 lockers in the Magdalen Green Postgraduate Suite
- 25cm x 26cm x 43cm (WxHxD)
- available only to Level 5 or 6 University of Dundee students
- loan period of twelve weeks
- cannot be renewed
- cannot be reserved
- 24 hours re-loaning restriction
- Overdue locker keys incur a fine of £1 per day - you will be notified of the due date on issue
- Damaged/Lost locker keys incur a charge of £25 to replace the lock mechanism
Robertson Trust Medical Library
Laptop lockers
- 15 standard loan lockers on Level 8
- 29cm x 9cm x 38cm (WxHxD)
- each locker has three-pin socket and electricity supply for re-charging
- available to all University of Dundee students
- loan period of four weeks
- cannot be renewed
- cannot be reserved
- 24 hours re-loaning restriction

Kirkcaldy Campus Library

- 16 lockers beside the fire exit
- 25cm x 42cm x 43cm (WxHxD)
- available to all University of Dundee students

- cannot be reserved
