Inclusive curriculum checklist, guidance and good practice example

The aim of this checklist is to support reflection on the inclusiveness of the University’s programmes so that these take account of the protected characteristics under the Equality Act 2010 . As such, it is intended to be used during Programme Approval and Programme Review.
The Inclusive Curriculum Checklist must be completed as part of the development and design of new programmes and the periodic review of existing programmes. The accompanying guidance on completing the checklist must be consulted as part of the process. An example of good practice in completing the checklist (courtesy of Aileen McGuigan and the TQFE team) is provided as an example of good practice.
