Community Learning and Development courses

Community Learning and Development courses at the University of Dundee, accredited by the CLD Standards Council Scotland, for careers in youth work and adult and community learning.

Community learning and development brings people together to build stronger, fairer communities, through youth work, adult learning, and community engagement. Our courses are accredited by the CLD Standards Council Scotland, qualifying you to practise, and are taught through blended learning that combines online study with time on campus. You can study full-time at undergraduate level, or fit postgraduate study around a role you already hold.

Undergraduate courses - blended learning

Qualify as a professional community learning and development worker with our four-year MA (Hons), which combines academic study with placements in community settings. The degree is accredited by the CLD Standards Council for Scotland.

Postgraduate courses - blended learning

Already working in the community learning and development sector? Study online alongside your role, with a PGCert, PGDip, or full MSc accredited by the CLD Standards Council for Scotland.
