It was a week of exciting and engaging activities aimed at developing skills for future careers. Working in teams, there was a real-life challenge set for students by the University: “How would you get more Masters students involved in DUSA/University of Dundee/Clubs and Societies?” The winning team picked up £500 in Amazon vouchers, with runners-up winning £300 Amazon vouchers. The judges include Sofia Skevofylaka (President of DUSA) Caroline Smith (Careers Service) and PG Directors. The winning team and the runners-up have interested DUSA and its Executive team in potential implementation of their ideas.

Moving into March and the 2 winning teams (winners and runners-up) from the Business Challenge met with DUSA on Friday 15th to present to them their winning ideas from the week. The purpose of the presentation was to gather students’ feedback so DUSA can start adapting as an organisation.

From the DUSA Exec, the following people were present:

Sofia Skevofylaka - DUSA President

Craig Reoch

Olaf Postola

Claire Hartley
