Hundreds of students and graduates from across Scotland will gather at the Bonar Hall on Wednesday 7 February for the University’s annual Nursing Recruitment Fair.

One of the largest events of its kind in Scotland, healthcare providers, health boards and the armed forces will be among the dozens of employers available to speak with potential employees. Those attending will be able to speak with recruiters one-on-one to learn more about how they can implement their qualifications in the workplace and the opportunities available to them.

The event is open to students and graduates from the University of Dundee, as well as those from other Scottish universities.

“The University of Dundee has always enjoyed a fantastic reputation for the quality of healthcare graduates we produce,” said Alison Mackay, from the University’s Careers Service.

“Not only is it a hugely rewarding career, but it is a constantly evolving line of work that allows each individual different opportunities for learning and development.

“For many, the first steps in their professional careers are taken at our annual Nursing Recruitment Fair. This gives students and graduates the chance to identify where they wish to utilise their new skills and qualifications or discover more about aspects of the field they may not have thought of previously.

“It is a hugely exciting event and a fantastic opportunity for both employers and prospective employees to learn more about one another.”

The University of Dundee Nursing Recruitment Fair takes place in the Bonar Hall, Park Place, on Wednesday 7 February 11:00 - 14:00. Attendance is free but registration in advance is required and can be completed online.
