Fourth year student Gosia Kepka recently took home the Packaging Design award in the ARTSTHREAD Global Design Graduate Show 2021 in collaboration with Gucci. Gosia was nominated alongside eight other DJCAD students, and said she was delighted to be in such great company.

“It was a very positive experience, and I'm feeling very honoured that my project was recognised by the judges. It was quite unexpected for me, especially that so many amazing graduating students were taking part in this competition. It still feels quite unbelievable that my project has been chosen over so many great projects. I'm also very proud of it, as I have worked really hard and I'm really happy how it turned out.”

Gosia studied Illustration, a course that allows our students the opportunity to enter competitions and compete for awards throughout their studies. The Illustration course also teaches students how to communicate effectively through visual means and create images that can be used in a variety of ways, such as books, magazines, merchandise, and digital media.

We’re proud to say that our DJCAD graduates are in high demand, with some going on to work for major design studios and organisations (including The New York Times, the Guardian, and Time Out), while others have set up their own agencies.

We're excited to see what the future brings for Gosia.
