I liked Dundee University very much, not only because of the good learning environment but also because of the nice professors and friendly international students.

Although Dundee is a small city, the local people are really warm and nice.

The main reason I choose Management and Entrepreneurship MSc is that I have always wanted to start my own business. My dream is to become a successful entrepreneur, then create an international charity to help others.

Fortunately, I have met all the good professors in our university, especially my superior Seemab Farooqi.

Last semester, I took two courses from her, one on “Understanding Entrepreneurship in a global context” and another on “Practicing Entrepreneurship: Starting your business”. From the course “Understanding Entrepreneurship”, I learned a lot of professional theories about how to become a good entrepreneur. While from the course “Practicing Entrepreneurship", I learned how to write a professional business plan. The professor gave us good feedback on each section. It was because of the professor's praise that I had the courage to put this business plan into practice.

My project is called GSI, the aim is to help all international students in the UK share second-hand goods information, housing information, food information and international events information. As I have been studying abroad for 5 years in South Korea, 1 year in Australia and 1 year in the UK, which has accumulated more than 7 years of overseas study and business experience, I can understand what kind of help they need as overseas students.

I set up my new team in the University of Dundee, through 2 months of efforts, we have more than 2000 users from different universities. Although I have graduated and returned to China, I miss my one-year stay in Dundee very much. Studying abroad not only enables us to learn cultural differences and knowledge from books, but also allows us to make friends with people from different countries. Meanwhile, the best professors bring us great help in our life with their unique teaching methods.

Our GSI program will continue to be implemented in the future. You can scan the QR code (wechat) to use it. We are also willing to help all international students to solve their life problems for free. Here I want to thank all the professors and friends at the University of Dundee. I am proud to be a student at the University of Dundee.
