First Athena Swan BBQ takes place

Last month, our SLS Athena Swan committee hosted their first Summer Family BBQ at the University of Dundee Botanic Garden.
The event was open to all our staff and students and their friends and family. The weather was sunny and warm which allowed everyone to enjoy the BBQ and the garden.
Lesley-Anne Pearson, Athena Swan SAT co-Chair, said, “After the last two years of having to be apart from each other we are very excited to have this opportunity for us all to meet up again.
“We intend to offer a diverse range of events throughout the year to enable us to cater to as many people as possible. If you have suggestions for events, please reach out to your Athena Swan representative, as we love to hear from you!”
