DRIG Member awarded New Year Honour

The MRC PPU are hugely proud that one of our Dundee Research Interest Group members, John Minhinick, has been awarded a British Empire Medal (BEM) in the New Year Honours List.

This award recognises John’s considerable contribution to the Parkinson’s community in Fife and across Scotland. We thank John for all his work and wish him many congratulations on this achievement.
John said “I am delighted to have received the British Empire Medal although my wife, who had Parkinson’s, is no longer by my side to enjoy the honour. The award recognises the work of an outstanding team that I have has the pleasure of leading for the past eight years.”
