Cindy Clarissa Adriaan shares her experience

“One of the best experiences I have had so far. Unforgettable memories, a place I could call my second home, a place where I found true friendship and family.

“The flexibility I was given in choosing the modules that I’d like to study, while having enough time to run 2 societies and also participating in Dundee University’s Enterprise Gym. It was a very wholesome education for me.

“The support I received as a student was not limited to the classroom. My student advisor was understanding on some of the problems that I had faced as a student and we found solutions to them.

“The friends that I’ve made, the Scottish experience, and experiencing what it’s like to build my own life, instead of relying on outside factors such as the distractions we typically find in a metropolitan city.

“The experience at Dundee had seen me gaining skills that were applicable to my working life now, such as building rapport and relationships with stakeholders, time management and report documentations. Overall, the knowledge I’ve gained through this degree I think is applicable to almost any situation in the working life. I have now been the tech industry for over 3 years, who would’ve thought that I would be working in the leading tech companies with a Business Economics with Marketing degree!

“The degree has given me frame of mindset and knowledge of understanding the economy and abstract concepts. Right after graduation, I was the first and only fresh undergraduate graduate who was ever hired by Salesforce.com Singapore, managing the sales development of the Indonesian market. It was unheard of and I have seen quite a success at the age of 23 and stayed in the company for 2years and 2 months.

“I have recently moved to Gartner as Account Director for the Indonesian market. It has been an amazing journey, and I’m looking forward to what the future has in store.”
