The University of Dundee is pleased to announce MSc EduAT Scholarship.

To be eligible for the scholarship, you must:

  • Hold an offer to study MSc EduAT part -time programme prior to your scholarship application
  • Hold Home Scottish or RUK Fee Status
  • Should your application for a place on MSc EduAT be contingent on being awarded a fee scholarship, you may decline an MSc EduAT place offer should you not be awarded a scholarship (prior to matriculation).

Further information

  1. The value of this scholarship is £13,230 for the two-year part-time programme. The scholarship covers tuition fees only.
  2. The amount to be provided annually is £6,615, totalling £13,230 over two years in the case of a full two-year part-time scholarship.
  3. The scholarship is for the full period of the part time course (2 years).
  4. The scholarship is applied to the applicant’s tuition fee balance, reducing the balance owed to the University. This scholarship is not made as a direct payment and the amount cannot be increased in any circumstances.
  5. To be eligible, you must already hold an offer to study MSc EduAT part -time programme.  If you do not have an offer, then you are not eligible for this scholarship.

How to Apply

In addition to course application form and personal statement (which must show interest and motivation in the content of the MSc EduAT) Students must provide a 1,000-word essay responding to the question:

“What is the difference that this scholarship will make in terms of how you plan to apply the MSc EduAT curriculum within your working context for the direct benefit of the AT users you support and your colleagues”.

  2. A summary follows:
  • Demonstrate a positive view and understanding of disability and the methods by which AT can support independence, achievement, and empowerment.
  • Evidence a person-centred approach to assistive technology assessment, provision, and ongoing support.
  • Describe the impact that the scholarship will have on both you and your employing organisation
  • Appropriately describe the planned impact on colleagues through your application of a ‘train the trainer model’ and include in your answer evidence to show you recognize the importance of multi, inter, and trans-disciplinary working.

  • Demonstrate a commitment to accessibility by submitting an accessible document.
