You should show that you have an understanding of working with people and of the skills, and values that are pertinent to the role of a social worker. Relevant work experience (paid and/or voluntary work included) is not required but could strengthen your application. Other voluntary or work experience can be considered if you are able to demonstrate an ability to transfer your learning and experience and to manage complex relationships in personal or work contexts. You should demonstrate this in your personal statement.
