Entry requirements

A UK Lower Second-Class Honours (2:2) degree

Your degree should be in politics, international relations, or a related subject.

Applicants with other qualifications or relevant professional experience will also be considered. In this case you will need to submit a 500-word personal statement with your application.

Your personal statement should explain:

  • your motivation for studying the course (how it extends what you have done before, or if it is a change in direction for you, explaining why)
  • why you are appropriate for this course (for example expand on your relevant skills and work experience)
  • why you are interested in the course, and the University of Dundee
  • how you feel the course will benefit you (such as intended career after the course)

English language requirements

You do not need to prove your knowledge of English if you are a national of certain countries.
