Learn about the multiple and complex challenges facing the energy industry, such as decarbonisation, wide-scale digitisation, and decentralisation.

Technological advancements and government policies are reshaping the energy sector, creating new markets, business models, and investment opportunities. This course combines strength in both energy studies and computing. Through a combination of core and specialist modules, you will learn to analyse, synthesise, and articulate theories and analytical tools relevant to the energy industry. You will explore topics such as electricity economics and policy, petroleum economics and policy, climate policies and low-carbon transition.

In addition, you will develop skills in data handling, analytics, software development and machine learning. This will enable you to use analytical and quantitative tools to conduct economic analysis, thereby supporting data-driven decision making, planning and management in the industry.

CEPMLP has been a global voice of energy law and policy since 1977. We are now working towards the transition to low-carbon economies worldwide. With over 6,000 postgraduate alumni from more than 50 countries, we prepare our graduates for high–profile careers in the public and private sectors.
