The course has an emphasis on case-based, evidence-informed online learning. This will allow you to critically engage with complex head and neck scenarios. You will also cover landmark research and multidisciplinary perspectives.
Assessment
- Discussion board engagement
- This will be focused on structured case-based and evidence-based discussions
- Case-based recorded video presentations
- These will show clinical reasoning, decision-making and application of knowledge
- Formative assessments
- These will include multiple-choice questions, self-assessment questionnaires, extended matching questions and case clusters
- Reflective and critical appraisal activities
- These are linked to landmark trials, guidelines and current literature
- Virtual OSCE-style assessments
- Continuous assessment across modules
- Online submission and feedback
- This will be done through My Dundee, the University's virtual learning environment
