Research

She writes mainly on trusts and succession, including writing and updating the reissue of the Trusts, Trustees and Judicial Factors section of the Stair Memorial Encyclopaedia of the Laws of Scotland. She was involved in consultations on the Trusts and Succession (Scotland) Act 2024 and her work persuaded the Scottish Government to add a provision to new trust law legislation to expressly permit trustees to consider ESG factors when making investment choices.
