It aims to equip students with an entrepreneurial mindset, link real-world situations through design research, and practice good design for social and business innovation. Between 2017 to 2020, Yujia designed and developed the teaching of design thinking for both Design and Management undergraduate and postgraduate programmes at Lancaster University to understand how design thinking is received and applied in business practice, especially entrepreneurial activity and innovation. She tailored and delivered the design thinking sessions for the MBA and MSc Entrepreneurship and Innovation programmes. After that, Design thinking was officially embedded in both curriculums.
