Dr Aslanyan received his PhD in Plasma Science and Fusion Energy from the University of York in 2016. He worked as a postdoctoral researcher at MIT, seconded to the Joint European Torus, and then at the Space Research Centre at the University of Leicester before he began as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Dundee in 2019.
Research
Dr Aslanyan is currently working on Magnetohydrodynamic simulations of the Sun and the origin of the slow Solar wind.
