Ron Mobed

Ron Mobed has held executive positions in information and analytics companies including seven years as CEO at Elsevier where he led the digital transformation of the business and five years as division President/COO at IHS. He has lived and worked in Africa, Asia and the USA.

He is currently a Non-Executive Director of Aveva PLC, a FTSE100 global leader in industrial software, a Supervisory Board Member of Fugro N.V., the world’s leading geo-data specialist, and a Non-Executive Director of Ordnance Survey.

Ron holds a MA from Cambridge University and a MSc from Imperial College London and is a Fellow of the Energy Institute and of the Institute of Directors.
