Rebecca McSherry

Rebecca has 30 years of fundraising experience in the charitable, arts and higher education sectors. She is Senior Development Officer (Trust and Foundations) at the University of Dundee where she has overseen a portfolio of funders that has a generated over £23M from Trust and Foundations since she started in 2003.

Rebecca has seen many changes at the University and is proud to be part of the team that has helped transform the campus, improve student experience and fund vital research through philanthropic donations.

Previously she held two posts at the Byre Theatre of St Andrews - Appeal Director where she managed the capital fundraising campaign and Marketing and Development Manager where she managed a small marketing team, the Front of House team and was also responsible for ongoing fundraising. Rebecca started her fundraising career as Events and Community Fundraiser for Shelter Scotland where she worked with schools and churches and ran several high-profile events.
