Rebecca Leiper

Rebecca Leiper is the Faculty Director of Operations for the Faculties of Life Sciences and Health. She provides strategic and operational leadership across both Faculties, overseeing professional services, financial management, governance, education, research support and operational delivery.

Working closely with the Vice-Principals of both Faculties, she provides strategic advice and operational leadership to support the delivery of the University's vision and the continued development of the Faculties.

Rebecca leads major organisational transformation programmes, including the integration of professional services, the establishment of the Student and Education Support Hub, and the development of the Research and Innovation Hub. She is responsible for ensuring that services are efficient, sustainable and aligned with the University's strategic priorities.

Rebecca has worked at the University of Dundee for more than twenty-eight years, holding professional services roles across every Faculty. She served a four-year term as a member of the University Court, concluding in 2022, and holds an MBA in International Business Management.
