Nicola is Associate Director (Programmes & Evaluation) with the Scottish Improvement Science Collaborating Centre (SISCC) and Senior Lecturer at the School of Nursing and Heath Sciences, University of Dundee.
Nicola leads the research and evaluation programme across SISCC and has overall responsibility for operational management.
Nicola is an experienced researcher with expertise in the practical application of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, particularly those relevant to the health services. Her research strengths include the application of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies across different diseases and contexts.
Nicola’s research is primarily focussed on improvement and implementation science, particularly related to enhancing the evidence base for improvements in health and social care.
She is a qualified project manager who has experience in developing, managing and leading complex projects across multiple sites and of working collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams.
