Biography

Craig joined the University of Dundee in 2014 as an undergraduate student in BSc (Hons) Anatomical Sciences before diving into wider University life. He was employed in External Relations as a Student Ambassador in the recruitment team and was also President of the Life Sciences Society.

After graduating, Craig was elected as Vice President of Student Activities on the DUSA Executive in 2018 where he gained a passion for working with students in a developmental role and enjoyed helping them to reach their potential.

Craig moved over to the University in 2019, first as Student Experience Coordinator in Student Services, then as part of the Development and Alumni Relations team in November 2020.

Joining the Careers Service in 2022 as a Careers Adviser and Careers Education Tutor, Craig contributes to the provision of Careers Advice, Information, and Guidance and teaches on undergraduate modules with a focus on building key career skills. As a Careers Development Professional, he is interested in the inherent link between student extra-curriculars and wellbeing, with a keen focus on how these relate to development of transferable skills and employability.

Craig is also a Trustee for a local mental health charity and works part time in other areas of the Higher Education sector, including with the Quality Assurance Agency and with Chevening Scholarships.
