Advanced Field Research (Physical Environments) module (GE32025)

Aims

• To enable students to extend their theoretical and practical knowledge of physical environments and related human impacts through advanced fieldwork.
• To enable students to gain experience in formulating a physical geography/ environmental science research project and the practical experience of undertaking a field-based research project.
• To develop higher-level field skills in observation, measurement and reporting.
• To provide an opportunity for group-based field work and student-led learning in an unfamiliar context.
