Cities: People, Places and Conflict module (GE32018)

Aims

The four main aims of this course are:

1. to develop student understanding of the processes which shape the geography of cities
2. to promote engagement with key theoretical debates which shape interpretations of the city
3. to develop a critical appreciation of historical and contemporary urban landscapes
4. to promote reflection by students on their own and others’ experiences of the city
