View your exam timetable and exam results
End of semester examinations, resits, and results are handled by Registry. Find out when and where your exams are, and when and how you will get your results.
Updated on 18 March 2025
The Examinations Office arranges Examination Diets (timetables), Exam Papers, and Invigilation.
If your modules include an exam, you will be automatically registered. We will confirm this with your school. In some cases, your school may contact you to check your module registration.
You will receive an email from the Examinations Office when your personal exam timetable is available. This email will advise you how to access your timetable online. This is for on campus exams only. Online/remote exams will be arranged by your School Office.
Exam timetables are subject to change, so it is important to check your timetable regularly.
Preparation and advice
The Academic Skills Toolkit & Exam Revision Toolkit are available within My Dundee and have lots of useful information on:
- controlling exam stress
- exam strategies
- preparation tips for your exams
Exam adjustments
If you need extra time for exams, we will arrange a separate or smaller room for you, away from the main exam halls. This ensures you can work without interruptions and have dedicated invigilation.
If you are entitled to extra time but choose to take your exam in the main venue (e.g., Sports Centre, Bonar Hall), you will not get extra time there. Make sure to attend your exam at the correct venue as per your individual timetable.
Please contact Disability Services if you no longer require a separate room or wish to take the exam in the main venue without extra time. They will amend your exam adjustments and inform the Exams Office of your decision.
If you are unable to attend your exam in the separate or smaller room, please contact the Examinations Office.
Deadlines for exam adjustments
If you need extra support for your exams, register with Disability Services before the deadline. This helps us make the necessary arrangements for you.
Exam period | Deadline for exam adjustments |
22 April to 16 May 2025 | Thursday 3 April 2025 at 12:00 |
Get in touch with Disability Services as soon as possible. It might be hard to get an appointment close to the deadlines.
Extra support for exams must be agreed upon and recorded in your student record before the exam adjustments deadline
Mitigating Circumstances
The University has a comprehensive mitigating circumstances guidance and application process. This is available for all students who are experiencing situations which:
- temporarily or permanently prevent or impair performance in an assessment.
- have had a significant negative impact on your performance.
- caused you to miss a deadline for submission of an assignment.
Unforeseen and unavoidable circumstances that affect your attendance and performance will be taken into consideration by your School, but only if they are aware of them.
It is your responsibility to report mitigating circumstances.
Find out how to complete the application form and guidance for consideration of mitigating circumstances and the deadline dates for submissions.
Getting your exam results
Your results will appear in eVision after they are marked. During the exam period and marking, the results screen is hidden (except for Health Sciences and CEPMLP students).
Agreed results will only be made available after ratification by an examination board. If you have any queries relating to your results, contact your School in the first instance.
Exam results day
Results for the April/May 2025 will be released on: 5 June.
You can keep an eye on our website and University social media where we'll announce when results are published. You can then log in to eVision to view your results.
We will email your @dundee.ac.uk address to confirm your results. Final year undergraduate students will receive an academic transcript at graduation.
