Inward visits

Inward visits from existing and prospective partners are an important feature of partnership work at the University and we aim to make these visits as efficient, productive, and successful as possible.

To help enable us to do that collectively, the Global Partnerships team lead the coordination of any visit to campus which crosses multiple schools, or where the presence of the University Executive Group (UEG) is required.

If you are planning a visit to any University of Dundee campus from an existing or prospective partner then you should complete the inward visit proposal form which will be assessed by the Global Partnerships team to establish the next steps and collect any necessary further information.

For visits that take place wholly within one school AND do not require the presence of UEG, there is not a requirement to complete the proposal.

You should ensure that you inform the relevant partnerships manager that the visit is to take place so that this can be recorded on the partnerships register.

Outward visits

The Global Partnerships team will help organise outward travel involving a member of the Global Partnerships team or the University Executive.

Schools/Directorates should contact the Director of Global Partnerships, who will decide the level of support that can be provided if they wish Global Partnerships/University Executive attendance at an outward visit.

The Global Partnerships co-ordinator will work with the School/Directorate to ensure that appropriate travel and accommodation is booked.

The Global Partnerships do not have the capacity to provide or store corporate gifts for visits that do not involve Global Partnerships/University Executive.
