Remove software from your Windows Staff Desktop

Uninstall a piece of software you no longer need using the Request administrator access tool

Be very careful when removing software, particularly if you're not sure why it's there. Other software may need it to run. Check with Digital and Technology Services if you're unsure.

  1. Go to your Notification tray at the bottom right-hand side of your desktop. 
  2. Click the up arrow to expand options.
  3. Right-click the green icon with the tick - Request administrator access.

  1. Click Tools > Uninstall a program

To uninstall an application, select to highlight it, then click uninstall.
