Use the link below to book an appointment with the Counselling Service.

We aim to offer an appointment for an initial assessment as soon as possible but at busy periods there may be a wait of 2 to 3 weeks. At busy periods you may find there is a wait of around 6 weeks from your Initial Assessment until you are offered an ongoing counselling appointment.

Once you have completed the form you will be emailed an appointment for an Initial Assessment with one of our counsellors.

The information you provide will be used by the University to deliver a confidential counselling service. View our privacy policy.

We cannot write letters for mitigating circumstances unless you have entered ongoing counselling and attended several appointments. If you are seeking a letter and have not attended before, speak to your School or the Student Support team about your options.
