IMU transfer graduates
The University of Dundee has a strong and longstanding partnership with IMU University, previously the International Medical University, in Malaysia, through both the School of Medicine and School of Dentistry.
Medical and Dentistry students from IMU can transfer to study at the University partway through their degree, with 15 to 25 students making the move from IMU every year.
Congratulations to this year's graduating cohort as they take the next steps in their careers and into their futures!

Family footsteps
University of Dundee graduate Dr Graham Christie (now Associate Dean for Student Recruitment and Global Partnerships in the School of Life Sciences) was in a slightly different role this graduation - that of proud dad!
Graham's daughter, Isla, walked across the Caird Hall stage to graduate in Illustration from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design.

Punnamas Sukcharoen
Punnamas Sukcharoen graduated with an MSc Sustainability with Merit, exactly thirty years after her mother, Air Vice Marshall Isaraya Sukcharoen who graduated with a MMedEd from Dundee in 1995.
Isaraya became the first female Director of the Royal Thai Air Force’s main hospital in 2021 while Punnamas is now a researcher at Sal Forest Company, Thailand’s first ‘sustainable business accelerator’ and intends to undertake a PhD within the Environment, Development and Sustainability Programme of the Graduate School at Chulalongkorn University.
Pedley family
Keeping it in the family! New doctor, Lucas Pedley, was joined in the celebrations by his Dad David, Mum Lisa and Auntie Sian (Lisa’s twin sister), all University of Dundee medical graduates from the Class of 1994!
Following in Dad’s footsteps
Maria Boyle celebrated her graduation from Biomedical Sciences at the garden party with her Dad Roger, who graduated from Dundee 40 years earlier in Medicine!
