Sit Inside Me is a creative response to the stigma of fear and disgust surrounding the inner body. Often, inner workings are put to the back of our minds and we cross our fingers and hope everything is working as it should. Why? There is beauty in the performance that our bodies generate beneath the surface, from expanding and detracting, to the vast scale of what is going on in there. Our organs are what keep us alive and this design is created with aims of reconnecting with our body and celebrating the intimacy and intricacy of what we cant see.

The overall design presents the opportunity for users to come to grips with uncertainty they may feel towards the topic. The exterior design explores the feeling of apprehension and intrusion, by literally giving users the opportunity to intrude the structure with the action of poking and prodding at the idea of embracing internal organs. In contrast, the interior allows individuals to have a personal meeting with their insides. Although taking a vulgar subject matter, the piece is explored and presented in a science-fiction style as opposed to a hyper realistic one - this is done with the intention of inclusivity, and aesthetic purpose.
