Over the past few years I have been working mainly in sculpture and drawing. I am particularly interested in working with clay and wax.
I tend to make things intuitively, allowing ideas to unfold as I work. I prefer not to think too much about the things that I make, however, there are some reoccurring themes throughout my work, and animals are often my main source of inspiration. Many of the sculptures that I have made recently have gradually become less figurative, some of the objects which started out as animal or human forms are perhaps not immediately recognisable at first glance.
