Through my animation career and university experience, it became very apparent that I am obsessed with the fine details of life. With this mentally I naturally decided to specialise in 3D animation. My goal is to supply a character or creature a rig with a sense of realism determined by the way it moves, no matter how stylised the model is. This then explains the style of animation in all of my pieces. A colossal amount of time went into each project and as time has passed I have learnt more than I thought I could. I used endless references online as well as acting out things myself when necessary to achieve the standard that you see. I created the performance for the warrior animation and also created and did the voice acting for the lip-synch piece, this boosts the originality of the pieces. I was also lucky enough to have gone through two mentorship programmes, one with Murray Mackenzie at Axis Studios (Glasgow) and the other with Steven Morris through Lupin House (London). All the rigged models were available without cost and found online, and were accessed with permission, so I hope that I did those artists justice with my animation as I can not compliment enough on how good these. assets were to work on. I can safely say that all the movement you see on screen was done by me (frame by frame), the only other thing I can say is that I hope you enjoy looking through my efforts.
