About

Jenny Thomson

“Everything for Everyone” is a campaign encouraging Gen Z to reconsider what they can sell with eBay. The project was completed in response to one of the D&AD New Blood briefs. The project tasked me with showing Gen Z the potential of selling their old things with eBay. I discovered that what sets eBay apart from the competition is their reputation of facilitating the sales of weird and wonderful things. I aimed to communicate to Gen Z that eBay provides a platform to connect everyone to everything and that even if they see little value in their items, they can mean so much to someone else.

“Thirteen 0 Four” is a whisky designed to celebrate the Links Market. Based in Kirkcaldy, the Links Market is Europe’s longest street fair and has been running since 1304. Many who grew up in the town have fond memories of the bright lights contrasting against the black sky. This served as the main inspiration behind Thirteen 0 Four. Locals of Kirkcaldy say it never rains there, although it typically always pours for the six days the market is in town.

“The Body Politic” is a publication created in response to an ISTD brief. This publication aims to tackle high levels of disengagement towards politics amongst adults within the UK by empowering and educating them to become involved through an approachable and easy to understand publication.
