Crescent Moon is a package designed to educate teenagers about their menstrual cycles and how to track them.
About
The package includes everything one needs to track their cycle, an informative diary, a bedside hub, and a necklace.
The Cycle Diary tells the user everything they need to know about the stages of their menstrual cycle and their symptoms. It also includes a calendar page for each month of the year, where the user can colour code their symptoms every day.
The necklace is a gift to the user, it's made from sterling silver and real pearls making it a piece of fine jewellery. Its colour coded to help user learn about the four phases of the cycle, the order they come in and roughly how long they last. The user can move the crescent moon charm around a bead every day to follow along with the changes throughout the month.
Lastly, the bedside hub is disguised as a photo frame and a jewellery box and stores The Cycle Diary, the pens and thermometer for tracking, and the necklace.
The goal of Crescent Moon is to bridge the gap in women's health education and teach young people with periods about how their bodies' function.
