About

Profile photo of Caitlin McPhee

Hello! I’m Caitlin, a Graphic Designer with a wide range of interests. In my final year at DJCAD, I explored how utilising my skills as a designer can create meaningful conversation, change ways of thinking, and educate in an engaging way. I participated in competition briefs including the D&AD New Blood Awards, the International Society of Typographic Designers Student Awards, Hatch Live Brief, and an annual report Live Brief which kickstarted the semester. Participating in these brief’s really furthered my skills as a designer, helping me really refine my process and creative interests.

Mо̄rēs Apéritif

Full Mores range

Mōrēs is a non-alcoholic contemporary lifestyle beverage which seeks to return drinking culture to its roots. This apéritif is designed to be sipped and savoured with intention, creating a modern-day ritual of enhanced social connection through not only the drink itself, but the interactive labels, promoting sociability and sustainability. The natural adaptogens all release natural energy to awaken your appetite for meaningful conversations and salty snacks. Make moments matter with Mōrēs.

ISTD Publication

A front cover which says invention and experimentation.

Some spreads from my ISTD publication which are based on the scientific and cultural impact of Frankenstein by Mary Shelley. The book is designed for students studying the text who wish to gain a deeper insight into the influences it provided on society in an engaging way.

Overcome the Barrier

A way of creating more awareness and excitement about foreign language content on Netflix, the Overcome the Barrier campaign harnesses the idea of not missing out on your next favourite show or film. As inspired by the quote by Korean director Bong Joon-Ho: “Once you overcome the one-inch tall barrier of subtitles, you will be introduced to so many more amazing films.” Users are always looking for the next best thing, but might not think to explore the international category as they often possess many barriers which causes reluctance to try something different.
