ID7000 – Sony Biosciences

Our ID7000 is a high-parameter spectral flow cytometer featuring five excitation lasers (355, 405, 488, 561 and 637 nm), 147 fluorescence detectors and the capability to detect 40+ fluorescent markers. An integrated autosampler enables automated sample acquisition from racked tubes, 96-well plates of varying depths and 384-well plates, supporting both high-throughput and complex experimental workflows.

NovoCyte – Agilent

The NovoCyte features three excitation lasers (405, 488 and 640 nm) and can detect 13 fluorescence parameters. Its interchangeable optical filters allow detection to be optimised for a broad range of non-standard fluorochromes. A calibrated syringe pump provides accurate sample uptake and cell counting, while the universal loader enables automated acquisition from multiple vessel formats, including racked tubes and 96-well plates.

LSR Fortessa – Becton Dickinson

Our custom-specification LSR Fortessa is equipped with five laser sources (355, 405, 488, 561 and 640 nm) and can detect up to 19 colours simultaneously, providing a flexible platform for a broad range of multicolour flow cytometry applications.

Cell Sorting

MA900 – Sony Biosciences

The MA900 is our advanced fluorescence-activated cell sorter, equipped with four excitation lasers (405, 488, 561 and 640 nm) and capable of detecting up to 12 fluorescent parameters. Interchangeable optical filters enable optimisation for a wide range of fluorochromes. 

Housed within a Class II biosafety cabinet, the MA900 enables the safe processing of appropriate biohazardous materials, including primary human tissue and cells transfected with non-replicating human viruses. 

Up to four distinct populations can be collected simultaneously, with cells deposited into a range of collection vessels, including 96- and 384-well plates for applications such as single-cell cloning. Temperature-controlled sample and collection chambers help maintain sample quality throughout the sorting process.
