We collect, preserve and provide access to the University’s archive and rare book collections which document the University’s history and many other organisations and individuals in Tayside.
Our archives are used in teaching and research and by members of the public.
Museum Services cares for the University of Dundee’s extensive Museum Collections.
We research, catalogue, conserve, interpret and make accessible over 30,000 objects, artworks and specimens for the benefit of staff, students, researchers and the general public.
Information Governance handles compliance with Freedom of Information and Data Protection Legislation. The team also advise on records management and provide storage for records.
We promote information governance to support the University’s mission. We also manage information risk to meet relevant legal, regulatory and audit requirements.
