Peter’s quality of life was transformed by incisionless brain surgery. Your support will enable more people to receive this ground-breaking treatment.

Incisionless surgery is a pioneering new treatment which is giving people back their lives. Your support today will enable more people to access this revolutionary treatment through research trials.

Researchers at the University of Dundee are currently performing incisionless surgery in the UK’s first clinical trial to treat Essential Tremor, where patients like Peter are experiencing life-changing results. The treatment uses soundwaves to target and destroy soft tissue, and results can be seen almost immediately.

“Now, I can shave, use a mouse, take photographs and use binoculars, which I couldn’t do before because of my tremor.”

Peter Airey, clinical trial patient

The innovative technology used to perform incisionless surgery is a powerful tool that has the potential to treat more conditions, including Parkinson’s, breast and prostate cancer, and brain tumours. Your support today will help researchers explore the possibilities of this promising treatment through clinical trials, which could change lives.
