Your University of Dundee student ID card serves as your official student ID, your library card and door access control card to university buildings, as well as identification to benefit from various student discounts.

Student ID cards can be collected during Welcome from the following locations.

International students

Monday 23 - Friday 27 January

BRP collection and student ID collection will be by appointment only.

Monday 30 January

Monday 30 January is the latest arrival date for most students. If you are unsure of your late arrival deadline please check your CAS.

Anyone who arrives after this date will not be permitted to commence their course and their CAS and visa will be withdrawn.

For students who still need to fully matriculate or collect their BRP cards, we will be in the Bonar Hall all of this week running the Right to Study check for continuing students. We expect this week to be very busy so you may have to wait a while before being seen.

Home students

Student ID cards can be collected from the Enquiry Centre, Campus Green.

Students must have completed the online matriculation task before collecting their ID card and must bring proof of ID.

If you are unable to attend at this date and time then you may attend on Friday 13 January or on Monday 16 January at either 09:30 to 12:00 or 13:30 to 16:00. Please only collect at these times if you cannot attend during your allocated timeslot.

If you are due to arrive in the UK after Monday 16 January, please book an appointment with Immigration Compliance to visit the Global Room upon your arrival in Dundee to collect your student ID card.

Students must complete the online matriculation task before collecting their student ID card. Please note you will have to bring with you your passport and BRP card (if not received by the University directly from the Home Office) for checking at this time.

Distance learning

Student ID cards will be posted to students once the online matriculation task has been completed.
