International students
International students will be emailed and advised to attend during Welcome to have their documents checked. Staff will check the documentation required for UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) purposes and issue students with their student ID card.
Students will need to bring their passport, share code if they have one, and boarding pass for checking.
International early arrivals
If you arrive before 19 December, you can book an appointment with the Immigration Compliance Team to have your documents checked and receive your student ID card.
Distance learners
As you are not studying on campus, we will not routinely provide you with a student ID card.
If you do require an ID card to access on-campus facilities, such as the library, please visit the Enquiry Centre after uploading a photograph and matriculating, and they will print this for you. We are not able to post ID cards.
Home students
Students must complete the online matriculation task before collecting their student ID card and must bring proof of ID.
