My name is Dan and I'm one of the student content creators here at the University of Dundee. I'm also part of the Surf Club.
Surfing has taken me all around the country, from competitions in Cornwall and Aberdeen to different beaches up north.
It's also taken me further afield. The club has taken holidays to Portugal, Fuerteventura and Morocco in the past.
We have over 150 different members across all year groups and all courses. We run socials on a weekly basis. These can range from chill pub drinks to bowling or movie nights on the beach.
Through the Surf Club I've made loads of new friends, learned new skills and explored new places both in Scotland and further afield.
Having such a strong sense of community has been fantastic.
