Inke Näthke joins UKRIO Board of Trustees

Professor Inke Näthke, Associate Dean for Professional Culture, has joined the UK Research Integrity Office (UKRIO) Board of Trustees.

The UKRIO is an advisory body that supports the entire research community and institutions to achieve high standards in research integrity. Their advice and guidance is relevant across all research disciplines.

Inke is active in the area of research integrity at School, University and Scotland level. Inke is the Chair of the SLS Research Integrity Group, chair of the University Integrity Leads group, convenor of the University’s Research Governance & Policy Sub-Committee and co-founder of the Scottish Research Integrity Network.

The Research Governance & Policy Sub-Committee is responsible for ensuring that the governance and policy context for the undertaking of research within the University is optimal. The Scottish Research Integrity Network was established in November 2019 with the aim of sharing excellence, good practice and expertise in research integrity across all research active institutions in Scotland. They currently have over sixty members, representing research, teaching and professional services at some twenty Scottish universities, research institutes, funding and professional bodies.
