The Bachelor of Finance (BFin) programme has been acknowledged as incorporating the key requirements of the CFA Program Candidate Body of Knowledge (CBOK) whilst also placing emphasis on the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct within the programme. This degree will prepare students for the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) qualification; which is one of the most respected and recognised investment qualification in the world.

Entry into the CFA Institute University Affiliation Program signals to potential students, employers, and the marketplace that the Bachelor of Finance curriculum is closely tied to professional practice and is well-suited to preparing students for sitting the CFA Level 1 examination. In addition, CFA scholarships will be offered to a limited number of BFin (Honours) students with an outstanding academic record.

Dr. Yang Wang, programme director of the Bachelor of Finance programme said “The CFA accreditation is widely recognised as the gold standard in the financial sector across the world. Our affiliation with the CFA Institute indicates that the BFin programme covers a significant portion of CFA Level 1 Program content. This gives our current BFin students an opportunity to prepare for Level 1 CFA exam.”

Mr. Cameron Love, one of the latest students to achieve a CFA student scholarship said “The recent award of CFA accreditation for the BFin degree is fantastic news and testament to the high quality of teaching across the accounting and finance discipline. The opportunity to receive a CFA scholarship enables me to gain a world-renowned professional qualification which will set me up well for my future career in finance.”
