This one-day course provides a competency based approach to Septoplasty and Rhinoplasty techniques using thiel embalmed cadaveric specimens.
A series of structured exercises has been devised so that Trainees can complete a variety of septorhinoplasty surgery simulations. Delegates will be working in pairs using thiel embalmed cadaveric specimens with personal tuition from experienced consultants.
This course covers:
- Mid columella and hemitransfixion incisions
- Septoplasty
- Hump reduction and osteotomies
- Tip sculpturing and basic tip suturing
- Spreader graft
- Dorsal graft
- Columella strut
